Caliber is applying to its local EMS agency for California EMS CE-provider approval under Title 22, Division 9, Chapter 3.5 (Continuing Education), with a physician medical director overseeing the program. California EMS certification and licensure renewal requires continuing education from an approved CE provider every two years, with at least 50% of hours instructor-based. EMTs also complete a skills competency verification, which is done in person and is not part of these online packages. Confirm your exact requirements with your certifying entity or local EMS agency.

Every course has written learning objectives, a post-test and a course evaluation, and is approved by our medical director before release. Courses are delivered online and self-paced, with direct instructor access from every lesson. Hours by domain are totaled under each curriculum.

Program Standards
Published so students, employers and regulators can see exactly what we hold ourselves to.
CE provider approval: pending. Program Director and Clinical Director: Esequiel “Ezekiel” Morales, EMT-P. A physician medical director oversees the program and approves all clinical content.
Each course is reviewed against current national guidelines and the California scope of practice before release, and re-reviewed at least every two years or whenever guidelines change.
Every course ends with a post-test. A score of 80% or higher is required to complete the course. Post-tests may be retaken.
Students can send clinical questions to a Caliber instructor from any lesson. Questions are answered by a qualified instructor.
Issued on successful completion. Each shows the student's name and certification or license number, course title and code, CE hours, completion date, and Caliber's CE provider number once assigned.
Completion records, post-test results and course evaluations are retained for at least four years and are available to the approving authority on request.
Every student evaluates every course. Evaluations are reviewed by the program director and medical director and used to improve content.
Packages include two years of access. Full refund within 14 days of purchase if no certificate has been issued — no fees. If Caliber cancels or withdraws a course you purchased, you receive a full refund for it.
