Effective October 27, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Caliber Medical Training ("Caliber", "we", "us"). They apply to calibermedtraining.com and everything on it, including class booking, NREMT Prep, NREMT Flashcards, Caliber Sim and Caliber Sim Pro, county protocol exams, online courses and continuing education (CE), and to the in-person classes we teach. Questions: calibermedtraining@gmail.com or (951) 418-6773.
1. Acceptance
By using the site, creating an account, registering for a class or buying anything from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- Our online services are for people 13 and older. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms and make any purchase for you.
- Some in-person classes accept minors; a parent or guardian books and signs for them.
- Your account is for you only. Keep your sign-in codes and password private, and tell us right away if you think someone used your account.
3. Classes: registration, cancellation and cards
- Seats: a seat you request online is held for 30 minutes and confirmed when you click the link in your confirmation email.
- Cancelling: please cancel with the link in your email or by contacting us as early as you can, ideally at least 72 hours before class (or the window shown on the class listing), so your seat can go to someone else.
- Class refunds: if you cancel before your class is completed, or you are not present for the class, your tuition is refunded in full to your original payment method. Once you have attended and completed the course, tuition is not refunded.
- If we cancel or reschedule a class, we'll tell you as early as possible and offer another date or a full refund of tuition paid to Caliber.
- Course cards: a course completion card or certificate is issued only after you attend the whole course and pass every required skills test and exam. Paying for a class does not guarantee a card.
- Participation: classes involve hands-on skills such as kneeling, chest compressions and shared training manikins. Tell your instructor before class about anything that limits what you can safely do; we'll offer reasonable accommodations. You take part at your own risk and should stop if you feel unwell.
- Conduct: we may remove anyone from a class for unsafe, disruptive or dishonest behavior, including cheating on an exam.
4. Subscriptions, pricing and billing
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
- Monthly plans (NREMT Prep, NREMT Flashcards and Caliber Sim Pro) and the Caliber Sim Pro yearly plan renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime online in the billing portal linked from the product page or your Stripe receipt. No phone call or email is needed. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then and won't be charged again.
- 3-month passes (NREMT Prep and NREMT Flashcards) are a single payment for three months of access and never renew. There is nothing to cancel.
- Refunds: payments for a period that has already started are not refunded for unused time, except where the law requires it or a product page says otherwise. No refund or claim is offered based on an exam result.
- CE packages include two years of access. You get a full refund within 14 days of purchase if no certificate has been issued, and a full refund for any course Caliber cancels or withdraws.
- Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, access may pause until the card is updated.
5. Your license to use our content
When you have access, we give you a personal, non-transferable right to use our questions, flashcards, simulators, courses and other materials for your own study. You may not copy, record, resell, publish or share them, share your account, or use automated tools to copy or scrape them.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't post or share exam questions, answers or test content, ours or anyone else's.
- Don't cheat on a CE test, course exam or protocol exam, or let someone else take it for you.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the site, or access another person's records.
- Don't use the site for anything unlawful or to harass anyone.
7. Intellectual property
The site, our question banks, flashcards, simulators, course content, logos and the Caliber Medical Training name belong to Caliber. American Heart Association, NAEMT, American College of Surgeons and other organizations' names, courses and materials belong to those organizations and are used only as they allow.
8. Third-party services
We rely on outside services, including Stripe (payments), AHA eCards and Atlas (course cards), Enrollware (class records) and our AHA Training Center, CPR Suppliers. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for their outages or decisions.
9. Medical and educational disclaimer
- Everything we offer is education and training, not medical advice. In real patient care, follow your local protocols, your medical director and your scope of practice.
- NREMT Prep and Flashcards are independent study tools. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and do not guarantee that you will pass any exam.
- Caliber Sim and Sim Pro are teaching simulators. Their rhythms, values and therapy responses are schematic examples, not calibrated clinical tools.
- The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
- Apart from what these Terms promise, the site and our services are provided "as is", and we don't promise they will always be available or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Caliber is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim about the site or our services is limited to the amount you paid Caliber for the service involved in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Indemnification
If you break these Terms or misuse our content or services, you agree to cover the claims, losses and reasonable costs (including attorney fees) that result.
12. Suspension and termination
You can stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or remove someone from a class, for cheating, account sharing, copying our content, unpaid charges or other breaches of these Terms. If we close an account without cause, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
13. Governing law and disputes
California law governs these Terms. If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If we can't resolve it, either of us may bring a claim in small claims court or in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California.
14. California notices
- Automatic renewal: renewing plans show the price, renewal interval and how to cancel before you pay, and you can cancel online at any time as described in section 4.
- Your privacy rights: see our Privacy Policy.
- Complaints: you can reach us at calibermedtraining@gmail.com or (951) 418-6773. California residents may also contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, (800) 952-5210.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
16. General
If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part right away doesn't waive it. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Caliber about the site; for classes, any written policy you receive when you register or pay also applies.
