Questions

Frequently Asked

Everything about how blended learning works at Caliber.

Yes. AHA officially supports blended learning for BLS, ACLS, and PALS. The online portion covers the cognitive (written) component; the in-person skills session satisfies the hands-on requirement. Your card is identical to one issued in a traditional class.
You have 90 days from your enrollment date to complete the online modules and schedule your skills day. Your progress is saved — you can pick up exactly where you left off across any device.
You can retake the post-test as many times as needed. Each attempt is logged. We recommend reviewing the module content for any topics where you scored below 84%. You cannot proceed to the skills day without a passing score — this ensures AHA compliance.
No account, no download. You receive a unique access link by email. Click the link on any browser — phone, tablet, or computer — and your course opens immediately. Your progress is tied to your token and saved automatically.
You can schedule your skills session at any point after enrolling — but you must pass the post-test before arriving. Once you pass, the portal shows a "Book Skills Day" button that goes directly to Caliber's scheduling calendar.
Yes. Every enrollment is logged with start date, progress milestones, post-test scores, and completion date. Records are maintained by Caliber Medical Training and available for CAPCE, AHA, and LEMSA audit review. You can also download your own certificate as a timestamped PDF.
